TDI Basic Nitrox course

This is the entry-level certification course for recreational divers wishing to utilize enriched air Nitrox (EAN) as a breathing gas. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for using Nitrox mixes from twenty two (22) to forty (40) percent oxygen content. Safely increase your bottom time, reduce the risk of DCS (decompression sickness) and nitrogen narcosis, and reduce diving fatigue. Learn about the benefits, limits and correct procedures for using nitrox mixes up to 40% oxygen.

Student Pre-Requisites
The student must:
1. Be a minimum age of fifteen (15).
2. Have a Minimum certification of Open Water Diver or
a current enrollment in an Open Water Diver course

Required Training Material
TDI Advanced Nitrox Student Manual (35.00 Euro)

Qualifications of Graduates
Upon successful completion of this course graduates
are qualified to enrol on:
1. TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver Course
2. TDI Decompression Procedures Diver

TDI Advanced Nitrox course

This course examines the use of EAN-21 through one hundred (100) percent  oxygen for optimal mixes to a depth of forty (40) msw / one hundred  thirty (130) fsw. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing EAN-21 through one hundred (100) percent oxygen for dives not requiring staged decompression. Decompression techniques may be combined with this course at the discretion of the instructor.

Student Pre-Requisites
The student must:
1. Be a minimum age of fifteen (15).
2. Have a minimum certification of TDI Nitrox Diver (or equivalent).
3. Show proof of twenty-five (25) logged open water dives.

TDI Decompression Procedures

This course examines the theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. This program is designed as a stand-alone course or it may be taught in conjunction with such TDI courses as Advanced Nitrox Course, Advanced Wreck Course, or Extended Range Course. The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive not exceeding a maximum depth of  forty five (45) msw / one hundred fifty (150) fsw unless taught in conjunction with the Extended Range Course. The most common equipment requirements, gear set-up, and decompression techniques are presented. Students are permitted to utilize Enriched Air Nitrox mixes or oxygen for decompression provided the gas mix is within their current certification level.

Student Pre-Requisites
The student must:
1. Be a minimum age of eighteen (18).
2. Have a minimum certification of Open Water Diver.
3. Show proof of twenty five (25) logged open water dives.

TDI Extended Range

This course provides training and experience required to competently utilize air for dives up to fifty five (55) msw / one hundred and eighty (180) fsw that requires staged decompression, utilizing Nitrox mixtures or oxygen during decompression. The objective of this course is to train divers in the proper techniques, equipment requirements, and hazards of  deep air diving to a maximum of fifty five (55) msw / one hundred eighty (180) fsw utilizing Nitrox mixtures or oxygen for staged decompression.

Student Pre-Requisites
The student must:
1. Be a minimum age of eighteen (18).
2. Be certified as a TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and TDI Decompression Procedures Diver (or equivalents) is required.
3. Have a minimum of one hundred (100) logged dives, of which twenty (25) must be deeper than thirty (30) msw / one hundred (100) fsw.

Required Training Material:

TDI Trimix course (Entry level trimix course)

The TDI Trimix Course provides the training required to competently and safely utilize breathing gases containing helium for dives that require staged decompression, utilizing Nitrox and / or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of sixty (60) msw / two hundred (200) fsw. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures of utilizing custom oxygen / helium / nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases to avoid narcosis in depth. Gas mixes are not to have any less than eighteen (18%) percent O2.

Student Pre-Requisites
The student must:
1. Be a minimum age of eighteen (18).
2. Have a minimum certification as a TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and Decompression Procedures Diver (or equivalent).
3. Show proof of a minimum of one hundred (100) logged dives.

Required Training Material

Qualifications of Graduates
Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may engage in technical diving activities utilizing custom Trimix mixtures without direct supervision as long as:
1. The diving activities approximate those of training.
2. The areas of activities approximate those of training.
3. Environmental conditions approximate those of training.
4. Oxygen percentages are eighteen (18) percent or higher.
